Approach- In crafting the identity for Roamin', my approach went beyond the creation of visual elements. It delved into solving the larger problem of encapsulating a brand that resonates with the nomadic professional—someone who seeks not just flexibility but a holistic experience.
Concept- The Big Idea of 'It's all about connection' became the cornerstone of Roamin'. It transcends the literal and dives into the metaphorical, encompassing the interplay of human connections, technological advancements, and the freedom to explore. The challenge was not just to represent these connections but to evoke the spirit of unity and continuity. To symbolize the multifaceted nature of connection, I drew inspiration from the concept of a tunnel—a passage that connects different points, creating a seamless flow. The tunnel became a powerful metaphor for the interconnectedness of human relationships, the integration of cutting-edge technology, and the freedom to traverse the world.
Combining the tunnel shape with the brand's initial 'R', I created a custom Lettermark which was distinct, simple yet memorable. This mark served as a highly functional and versatile emblem across various applications throughout Roamin's branding. It addressed the immediate challenge of brand representation and also created an immersive experience that speaks to the heart of the modern nomad.
